The Ark kindergarten is a modern early learning center that takes children from 8 months to 6 years.  The Ark junior school takes children from 6 years to 10 years. We delight in making your child’s early years meaningful and deeply rooted in the values. The Bugolobi school campus located opposite Barclays bank at Plot 85A, Spring road was established in 2009 while the Kiwatule campus located behind metroplex shopping mall inside Sunset apartments Kiwatule was started 2013. We are a modern christian early learning center.

The main aim of starting the schools was to provide comprehensive early childhood education for kindergarten and junior schooling. TAKJS has grown from one campus in Bugolobi, to a second more spacious campus at Kiwatule which was established as a sister school to TAKJS-Bugolobi. The Ark is a reputable daycare, kindergarten and junior school built on a strong Christian foundation and values. The school offers different co-curricular programs/clubs that include: ballet, piano, hand work; reading; debate,football, scouting, swimming and many others.

We have taken a lot of time to integrate the Ugandan national curriculum with a variety of international curriculums that turned The Ark kindergarten very competitive and fun to learn. All children have six areas of development that we use to develop our subjects and also to measure performance namely: Personal, social, emotional development; knowledge and understanding of the world; communication; literacy and language; health, mathematical development; creative or imaginative development and physical development. We have also placed focus on refinement of senses that stretch: creative arts and music, gross motor development, fine motor development, language development, concepts development, cognitive skill development, social development.

The school has since attracted great admiration, and her influence has projected herself as a first class academic school that raises a child with Christian-values. To-date, the school has an enrolment of over 100 learners from around Kampala and beyond. TAKJS is focused and involved in recruiting high caliber teaching and non-teaching staff to nurture and teach children, provide learners with co-curricular skills; offers affordable school fees and scholarships; school clubs; provision of practical confidence-building and communication skills to learners; and emphasis on nurturing Christian-centered values.
